Park Avenue provides garments that are electrostatically dissipative for the electronic and precision engineering industries. The garments come in a variety of fabric compositions and depending on the specific requirements of the customer, different levels of ESD characteristics and wearer comfort.

Electronic devices that are manufactured or used as tools for the manufacture and/or testing of precision products have become increasingly sensitive to the effect of electrostatic discharge (ESD).

As a result, the garments used in these manufacturing environments have become an integral part of electrostatic control. To make a garment that is fit for purpose, the only question that needs to be asked is whether the garment will serve as the core of the ESD system or as a back up.

The fabrics used in the ESD garments have a high surface resistivity in both the warp and the weft of 8 x 107 ohm.  The charge decay to less than 10% (orig) in <0.01 sec. Fabric types include a densely woven non-linting barrier protection for use in a Clean Room, or a breathable fabric with the same ESD properties for non Clean Room environments.

These fabrics are ideal for the Electronic and Precision Engineering  industries.
