Park Avenue was one of the first industrial laundries in Australia offering a linen rental service. With a focus on outstanding customer service, Park Avenue grew and added a uniform rental service in the early seventies, pioneering the use of barcodes to manage uniforms and workwear in Australia. At this time we also moved in to dust mat and roller towel rental.
Park Avenue expanded into the Melbourne uniform rental market in 1987 and gained business through capitalising on its strong customer focus. This was enhanced by our barcode based uniform/workwear rental service. Throughout the nineties we continued to develop our rental market for workwear and related products. Today Park Avenue services customers in an area extending from Bairnsdale in Eastern Victoria through to Bacchus Marsh and Geelong in the West and from Wonthaggi in the south to Craigieburn in the north.
Cleanroom laundry services were added in 2003
Park Avenue established a new division in 2003 called Park Avenue Services. This division provides a specialised, Australia wide, cleanroom laundry service complete with four ETO sterilisers.
Our cleanroom laundry can process garments for all cleanroom production classes including:
- pharmaceutical
- medical device
- medical
- electronics
- and the nanotech/biotech industries.
Park Avenue’s cleanroom laundry provides cleanroom garment rental and purchase, as well as a comprehensive range of contamination control consumables such as sterile wipes, disinfectants, mops and disposable garments.
Park Avenue cleanroom also offers small scale contract packing and sterilising and will assist with the validation protocols.
In 2014 Park Avenue moved in to a purpose-built state of the art industrial laundry facility in Warragul which now services over 1500 clients Australia wide.
