Frequently Asked Questions
Can customers audit your facility?
Park Avenue welcomes customer audits of our facility and will work with you to ensure that we remain compliant to the highest quality standards and relevant regulations.
Can the garments for Cleanrooms be repaired?
Park Avenue inspects each garment that is returned for processing. Any garment requiring a repair is assessed. In consultation with you we will make any necessary repairs. Park Avenue understands the critical nature of Cleanroom manufacture and will ensure that your personnel, products and environments are not compromised.
Can you launder garments used in Cleanrooms?
Yes. Park Avenue has a separate, secure cleanroom laundry for processing cleanroom garments.
Do I have to rent my Cleanroom garments or can I purchase my own?
Park Avenue will work with you to provide the service that best suits your business. Both our cleanroom laundry and industrial laundry will process your own or rented garments.
Do you have a variety of fabrics for garments used in Cleanrooms?
Park Avenue can supply a range of breathable and total barrier fabrics to suit just about every cleanroom requirement. The fabrics are engineered to include ESD, repel fluids and bacteria and offer high barrier protection. They are also comfortable to wear. The fabrics come in a range of colors so that critical and non-critical areas are easily and quickly identified.
Do you have sterilisation capability?
Yes. Park Avenue can sterilise garments.
How long will it take to start a uniform rental service with Park Avenue?
We work closely with our customers to ensure that uniform rental starts on the agreed day. We take full responsibility for meeting these deadlines. If you require ‘standard’ garments that can be purchased off the shelf, set up time is usually 1-2 weeks. For non-standard garments that are manufactured to your requirements, set up time may be 4-8 weeks.
How often do you invoice for your services?
Our prices are based on a 52 week billing period and generally invoices are generated weekly. However monthly invoicing is also available upon request. We pride ourselves on our simple, easy to understand invoices. Some of our competitors’ invoices are so complex that their customers don’t even understand what they are paying for!
What happens when my employees are on holidays?
Our rental agreement is for a 52-week billing period. Uniforms will be delivered as normal so that they are available when your employee returns from holiday. In the case of a plant shutdown the only difference to the above is that the soiled laundry will be picked up just prior to the commencement of the shutdown and if we can’t deliver during the shutdown period, the garments will be delivered on the first delivery cycle after start-up.
What makes Park Avenue different from the rest?
Our commitment to service and innovation is one of our key differences, along with an understanding that each of your employees is our individual customer and that our ability to keep them happy is a direct reflection of our service. We are also flexible in meeting your individual needs.
What sort of flexibility do you offer?
Depending on your requirements we can offer daily, every second day, twice weekly, weekly, fortnightly or monthly servicing. In fact, we are able to call as frequently as you wish. We even have customers on an eight weekly service cycle. Our system automatically ensures we call on the right day, every time. All our deliveries are accompanied by a comprehensive delivery docket listing of all of the items returned that day. We also offer flexibility in outfitting your staff. We are happy to rent or lease any style of garments you require, with your name embroidered directly onto the garment if you so desire.
Will you save my business money?
We are experts in working with our customers to ensure they are paying only for exactly what they need. Our on-going reporting system allows our customers to monitor their usage and make savings.
What happens when an employee leaves?
Just let us know and we can stop the supply of rental garments for an employee who has left. Unless we are told we do not know, so it is important to notify us.
